Why We Exist

Healing Belongs to Everyone

Behind every session, every story, and every breakthrough is a simple belief: no one should have to choose between their mental health and their financial stability.

That’s the heartbeat of The Therapy Project—a nonprofit committed to making therapy affordable, faith-integrated, and available to anyone ready for change.

Our Mission: Removing Barriers + Restoring Hope

We exist to bring affordable, compassionate, and faith-rooted therapy to those who need it most.

Our mission is simple: make mental health care accessible, personal, and transformational.
Because when one person heals, families strengthen, communities grow, and hope multiplies.

How We Make Healing Possible

We provide therapy and resources that meet people where they are—emotionally, spiritually, and financially.

  • Sessions starting at $35

  • Professional therapy for individuals, couples, and families

  • Faith-integrated care for those who want to include their spiritual journey

  • Community education and outreach that brings mental wellness into homes, churches, and workplaces

  • Partnerships with donors and organizations to expand access to care

Each session is a step toward freedom, stability, and peace.

A Letter From Our Executive Director

Melissa Webb is smiling while leaning on a stone railing near a body of water with fountains in the background.

When I started The Therapy Project, I kept meeting people who were doing their best to hold it all together—but couldn’t afford the help they deserved. They weren’t weak. They were weary. They just needed someone to make healing possible.

That’s why this work exists. To remove the barriers that keep people from therapy. To make sure money never decides who gets to heal.

Every time someone sits across from one of our therapists and feels seen for the first time, I’m reminded that this is what hope looks like. This is what God can do when we choose compassion over cost.

Your support turns that vision into reality. Whether you book a session, sponsor one, or simply share our mission, you become part of someone’s healing story.

Thank you for believing that every person deserves access to care, comfort, and connection. Together, we’re proving that healing truly belongs to everyone.

With gratitude,

Melissa L. Webb, LPC | Executive Director

From Crisis to Care: 60 Therapy Sessions of Support

Too many people skip therapy because they can’t afford it. The Therapy Project exists to change that—removing financial barriers so anyone can receive the care they need when it matters most.

Your gift directly funds therapy for someone in crisis. Every $75 donation covers one full session for an individual, couple, or family who would otherwise go without help.

One session can do more than teach coping skills—it can calm anxiety, restore hope, save a marriage, or keep someone from giving up.

When you give, you’re not just donating. You’re saying, “You matter, and you don’t have to face this alone.”

💛 Join us in turning crisis into care.
Your support brings real therapy, real healing, and real change to our community.
